Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is well-known American actress. Kellie Martin has appeared in a variety of TV and film shows like "Christy" which is a drama about a young woman known as Christy Huddleston. Her other notable roles include playing the title role in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin began her acting career when she was seven years old. Her aunt, who served as the nanny for Michael Landon's children was a big help in landing her a small role on the 1982 TV series Father Murphy. Following her graduation from Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed important roles on the small screen and the large screen. Martin is also a photographer and a dancer. Martin's sister, who died due to Lupus aged 19 inspired her to become the Lupus National spokesperson.
